Melty Boi Ice Cream Pattern

Hello! I recently did a poll on my Instagram to decide what my newest pattern should be and "melted ice cream cone" won.

I used felt for the mouths to convey the fear I'm certain a melting ice cream would feel. It turned out just as I had hoped! So get creative; add sprinkles, distressed expressions, maybe even a strawberry! Be sure to tag your creations on Instagram @tinyfriendscrochet so I can see them. Let's begin!

supplies you will need…

o worsted weight yarn in colors of your choosing

o 4 mm (G) hook

o stitch marker

o fiber fill

o scissors

o 6 mm safety eyes

o black thread

o *optional—black felt for a mouth and fabric glue

terms used

sc: single crochet HDC: half double crochet

ch: chain *: repeat

inc: increase FLO: front loop only

inv dec: invisible decrease

st: stitch

a few things before you begin…

o This project is worked in continuous rounds, do not join rounds.

o I used Red Heart Super Saver and Impeccable Loops and Threads for this project; you can find them at Michael’s!

o You can enhance their expressions with black felt and fabric glue; make the scoops look fearful or blissfully unaware.
